AACaseReportsWe have great news: LWW has just contacted AA2day to say they have received a letter confirming that A&A Case Reports has been accepted for MEDLINE® indexing.

What does this mean?

  • All articles will be indexed retroactively to the start of publication.
  • A&A Case Reports will receive an Impact Factor.
  • We expect that indexing will increase submissions by 20-30%, because A&A Case Reports is now the only indexed case report journal in our field.
  • We expect that the quality of case reports will increase because authors will be drawn to an Indexed Journal.

Don’t forget the broad definition of “Case Reports” in A&A Case Reports. The Journal not only accepts traditional clinical case reports, but also accepts “Management Case Reports” and “Education Case Reports” as described in a recent editorial in Anesthesia & Analgesia.  If you have interesting management or education projects, and want to publish them in an indexed medical journal, look no further than A&A Case Reports!

If this sounds like an advertisement, it is. We’re proud of the progress A&A Case Reports has made since it was launched a year ago.

If you have any questions, let us know.
